Hytrol's Skatewheel and Roller Gravity Conveyors are used to convey packages on permanent or temporary lines in warehousing activities, shipping departments, assembly areas, and more. The majority of products will convey with a minimum amount of pitch. Gravity conveyors are also great for level horizontal applications, where boxes, bins, etc. are pushed by hand.

Today's plastic strap materials, especially polyester and nylon, can replace steel strap in most applications. Plastic strap is quickly becoming the preferred method for securing loads, mainly because it is safe, inexpensive and effective. New strap sizes and better tool options have allowed users to make the switch to plastic and some major retailers have even banned the use of steel for securing their products. Some things to consider:

• Better Value: Significantly reduces packaging costs - plastic is lighter, therefore cheaper to ship and use than steel. Also, plastic strap prices are more stable than steel prices, allowing for more accurate budgeting.
• Safety: Use of plastic strap will reduce injuries to your employees and your customers
• Load Safety: Today's strap materials and sizes can rival tensile strengths of steel in most applications. In fact, the memory and shock resistance of a plastic strap can actually improve the long-term tension and load integrity.
• Reduce Product Damage: Plastic strap does not scratch or rust so your products are better protected from damage
• Tool Effectiveness: Plastic strapping is typically sealed using a heat weld, which is much more efficient and consistent than conventional clip-on steel seals. Newer battery and pneumatic tools can significantly reduce labor time and effort.
• Environmental: Many of the plastic strap materials consist of almost 100% recycled content. Also, plastic is easier to recycle and/or re-use.
